There is lots of work to be done at the carnival grounds for upcoming events such as the horse show and the carnival!! The only way to host these events is with your help, so please stop by and lend a hand with the activities and pre-arranging for them. Bulletins will be posted on the membership board up stairs to keep everyone aware of when the work parties will take place. You will also be contacted by other communication means with the upcoming events. Keep in mind that anyone who does do work at the carnival grounds please contact BJ or Justin Sturdevant so you can recieve your activity points.

BAILEY HOLLOW HALL RENTAL

The Bailey Hollow Hall is located in the Dalton Fire House and is available for rental. The hall can be rented for parties of any kind and anyone can rent it. The hall is approximatly 52ft. long by 44ft. wide and a kitchen is located with dishwashing services and cooking utilities. The cost is $50.00 first and second hour and $25. 00 for each hour after the first 2 hours. An additional $50.00 flat rate for the use of cooking utilities. The hall holds an estimated 125 people including the DJ and catering. Hall must be vacated by 11:00pm. Pictures are on the way of the hall and will be put on the website as soon as possible. If anyone is interested in renting the hall or has questions, you can contact Sue at 570-563-1248.

What We Do

The Dalton Fire Company provides Fire, Rescue, and EMS services to the residence of Dalton Borough, West Abington Township, LaPlume Township, North Abington Township as well as parts of Glenburn and Abington Townships. We are dispatched through the Lackawanna County 911 center. We average 450 Ambulance calls per year as well as 200 Fire/Rescue type calls.
